In January 2023, after over 45 years in the business, Bruce DeLaurier, an extremely valuable member of the Skana team retired.

He had opportunities to share, and apply his experience in lumber production, trading, manufacturing, treating, and company management with many over the years.  With continuous involvement in the industry, the support of office staff and his fellow traders, he brought much more to a business relationship than merely buying and selling wood.

Bruce is a descendent from five generations of lumbermen, carpenters, and builders dating back to the 1840s in County Durham, England.

Bruce enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, projects on his property, and is an avid home brewer.
